[V8] A/C pulley alternative????

A while ago I thought about this and devised a plan to replace the A/C 
compressor with a pulley and homemade bracket from another car. Or, you 
could see about putting on a shorter belt eliminating the A/C compressor. 
I'm just not sure if that is possible without running into something else 
(like another pulley).
