[V8] O2 Sensor- Whaatt; CONCLUSION ?

I had no idea my original thread would stir things up to such an extent. However my story actually has a happy ending. I replaced my new O2 sensor with another new one and voila-no more acting up. Apparently my last O2 sensor was defective right out of the box. I guess it happens once in a while. The new 4 lead sensor looks like it will give me better mileage than my old 3 lead (even when it was fresh). So good luck to all of you and thanks again for all the help. William
