[V8] Rad temps

Looking to replace my rad because of suspected early clogging signs.  My
biggest "issue" was indicated dash temps of 100C in 90 degree ambient at
80MPH
with A/C on.  No electrical fan kick in at that temp. (if no A/C)  Most I
have spoken with say fan tends to kick in around 95C. Initially I checked
outlet sensor that control fan and got infinite ohms.  Then I set the DMM
to the CORRECT range or the sensor and got the correct (Bentley) readings.
Inserted 100 Ohm resistor and the fans cycled through all speeds.  Issue
was that coolant cyl head outlet temps were 100C +- as confirmed by a laser
temp reader, and the lower rad outlet temps were ~95 F!  I could easily
touch the outlet and at those temps the temp sensor would not cycle to
electric fan.  Some think I have a well functioning rad.  (with a 100% F
drop top to bottom) Again I'm coming from turbo typ 44's were my temp gauge
never really gets this hot even with same running and ambient conditions.
During this time my oil temps are also a few ticks above 1st hash mark.  Do
I need a new rad?  Now outward signs of issues.  Of course with the key on
after shutdown watching the outlet temps creep to well over 100C does
nothing for my feeling of well being with an aluminum engine.  That said,
it certainly cools faster than cast engines.
