[V8] Oil sender, who has it & how much?

Removed the oil pressure sender, it appears to leak around the crimp.

Audi pn 077 919 561 D, list price is over $200 . . .


Went to local FLAPS, they had a sender that was supposed to fit for $70,
but the thread size was too small. FLAPS part was 10mm threads, Audi
part is 14mm threads.

Anyone have a workaround on this? Anyone have a line on the correct
sender for less than $200 (ouch!).

How about a reducer to put in the later model sender - the $70 one?

Ideas solicited . . . .
