[V8] Dirt and Dirt

[quattro + 5 or 8 = fun]

my V8 lived on a mile long dirt road that was driven MANY times a day for
over 10 years.  During that period of time, I put 150K miles on it and
changed the CV boots in the front once.  The rears are still original and
have over 200K miles on them.  my 4000q has almost 250K on it and has the
same boots it had when i bought it at about 170K.  They are getting a bit
dry now.  The rears on that car look original, but VERY dry.
