[V8] G60 Brakes

Much to my chagrin, I purchased
G60 calipers & Rotors off a 
93 URS4 and was just told by
my indy that they won't
fit my 1990 V8Q.  Showing my
ignorance - I thought all G60s
were alike and apparently they
are not.  

Would anyone car to enlighten 
me on what Audi/VW models
with G60 brakes would fit my 
1990 V8Q? Or how one would
be able to tell just by looking
at the calipers? I had cleaned and 
painted them black, and the only
markings I saw was "G60" and 
"Girling" . . . surprise, surprise.
