Last weekend I put up a little story about The Black Mariah on the Audifans
classified page.  I decided to test the waters as I am really considering
something else during the summer and to make it all happen, I might have to
simplify...and go to just two vehicles in the yard.  If that happens, the 20
valve Avant will go as will the Porsche 928...difficult decisions.

So, I decided to "test the waters", and put up a blurb about the car, and
said that once the car is back from the wrench's, I will be happy to send
amyone a complete listing of all the work that has been done on the car,
plus pictures.  I explained that the car is probably worth more to me than I
can ever get for it, but if someone wants a 20-valve Avant in outstanding
mechanical and fair cosmetic condition, this might be worth a discussion
anyway.

Well!  I have had a buyer contact me!  Woweeeeeeeeeeeeee!  Sight unseen, and
with no regard to service history, he wants to send me fourteen grand!  Wow.
I asked for the bank's name and that information has been sent....it is
Barclay's....I told the "buyer" that I would send him the address of my
attorney and it would be through his office that the transaction would be
completed...

So, now I have asked where the car is going, and who will be the shipping
company because I want to know if it is going to a country that I can export
it to.  I am waiting the next installment.

I am SURE that this is legitimate!  (wink, wink).

wonderous sales.  Just let's say that I am gathering data for my book!
