[V8] Seat Debris

... looks like others have identified the true culprit ... My first question was going to be whether or not the was an MT car ... 

I too have BTDT on #344 ... bought the replacement part from the dealer ... replacement was a bit of a PITA, but not that difficult.  The part is pinned in place, and I remember having to work a bit to get the holes lined up in a location where I had clearance to insert the pin.  If things get too difficult you might want to disconnect the clevis from the clutch M/C to remove the action from the spring in the M/C.  The clutch return spring is mounted way up at the top of the pedal assembly, and it has an over center mechanism ... which means that it forces the pedal up when the pedal is closer to the resting location, and it also pushes the pedal to the floor when it is closer to the floor.
