[V8] Noise that is driving me absolutely CRAZY!!

Have you tried a mechanics stethoscope?  They are around $10 at 
your local FLAPS. Get the up to operating temperature. When the 
car starts making the noise, use the stethoscope to pinpoint the
location of the noise (front of the engine? back of the engine? up 
high? down low?). Then maybe we can identify the likely cause.
