[V8] Still Lurking around here

Hi all, after selling my much loved V8 I was without a money pit so I bought a nice urS6. (I see some of you on that list as well, and you know who you are). 
Is in pretty decent shape but I have question. 
The front shocks are about 3 years old, but it makes the deaded "clunk-clunk"
sound from the front over sharp bumps or jolts. I dont remember 
which componets that relates to.

I had to tighten the 4 bolts in the dash that hold
the stering shaft on my last V8, that seemed to cure
some of it. But I think its going to need 
new uppers and collars. 

Oh, the S6 is a nice car, but is hard to top 
a clean and together V8.
