[V8] noise thats driving me absolutley CRAZY!!

My 1st thought is how could a knock sensor CREATE noise?  It's not a moving
part.  And if it's doing its job for any reason, it would be telling the ECU
to back off to preserve the engine.  The noise at least in my case, is
present only at idle.  Doubt the KS is doing any real work then.

Others, is your noise present above engine idle speed?

In regard to another note about loosening the cam gears... my noise was
present before and after my t-belt job and I did use the cam locking plates
and loosen the cam gears.

Maybe my noise is different than y'all's.     ;-)
