My eyes sprang open when I read about a possible piston ring source.
Much of the reason I swapped in the 4.2 is because I couldn't find new
rings for my 5-speed's 3.6 PT. I have been keeping my eyes open for the
link to be reposted but haven't seen it -- is it out there somewhere?

No magic, guys, I've successfully rebuilt two PT engines with gapless rings
from: _http://www.totalseal.com/totalseal3.html_
(http://www.totalseal.com/totalseal3.html) with very good results. Oil consumption between oil changes
(5 K miles) practically zero. Now I'm in process of rebuilding of ABH from my
'92V8qa -- waiting for ordered rings.
Sorry, Dave, for my weak memory -- some time several years ago I've bought
PT engine from you?
Pasha
PS
I have ready to go ring set from Deves for PT engine -- 81.00 mm.
