[V8] Window lift usual suspects?

After going through this on both my Audis, here is what I found. There are small little brass contacts in these switches, and if they get buggered up, they have a tendency to not work. What you might try is swapping the window switch with a known working switch. Try this both in the non working door, and in the drivers door, since the power originates in the drivers door and is then sent out to the passenger side. There is also a fairly large main power wire in the drivers door jamb bundle that has a problem of breaking due to the door opening and closing, and bending the wire inside the insulation. However since your window goes down and not up, I would kind of suspect a switch problem, or other wiring problem. Since you only have power through one wire, might also check the power in the drivers door. This was probably one of the most frustrating jobs I had to do on these cars, since chasing this wire is enough to make you seriously think about manual windows. :-)!
