[V8] A few issues with my '93 4.2

Ah!  Thanks, Greg! I've gotten so used to driving the 5-speed that  
I'd forgotten about the kickdown in the cable.  Maybe I'll be lucky  
enough that the wire(s) is/are disconnected.  I can hope, can't I? :-)
