[V8] body parts anyone?

I am thinking about buying a non-running V8 pretty soon.
I think all the body panels are in pretty good shape. It currently is not
running so I don't know what the transmission condition is. It has 144K miles on
it.
I am buying it because I want the motor.
It looks like it has not been well cared for in recent years, but not wrecked.
I am starting to think my motor was overheated at some point in its life - which
would be before I got it 6 years ago. This is the only explanation I can come up
with for my oil usage - which is getting embarrassing.
Mine has always had an appetite for oil, and a leak down test says I have some
problems. My plan is to rebuild my heads and put them on the other block -
assuming of course that it is good.
I may think about re-ringing mine if I could find a solution for the bearings
and the bores are still good. I really won't know what is up until I get them
both torn down.
Anyway, the body parts will go cheap. I suspect the shipping will be more than
the parts. I think I can get this car for a few hundred dollars so I don't need
to make much money on the parts.
