[V8] Shift console light

Since I bought my V8, the automatic shift console has always been dark when all the other illumination is on.  No big deal since the shift selection also shows up on the dash.  However, I wouldn't mind replacing the lights in the console if it's easy to get to.  Is this is easy to access, or do I have to pull apart the whole center console to gain access?
