[V8] Quick o-ring question

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Went out to work on the new toy ('01.5 S4 w/ goodies) and found a water pump
leak.  Drat.  So, went to fix the hydraulic issues on the V8 that's been
sitting for a while. 

Question is this: the hose that goes from the reservoir to the pump has 2
o-rings, one on each side.  What is their size, and does the material
matter?  I'm assuming that a normal butyl-N o-ring will work.
