[V8] Oil Weight

I used to run 15W40 in cars year-round here in KS but decided to switch
to a lighter weight for the winter when highs will reach the low 20s.
:) Again, I have no first-hand knowledge and I hate passing on hear-say
or gossip, but too thick of an oil on a really cold day has been known
to make timing belts jump a tooth. I take everything I hear with a
grain of salt, but that came from a trusted source. But that's on the
same level as "makes seals leak," so *shrug*

As far as intervals for change, some of the newer Porsches were
recommending 15,000 per oil change, and 20,000 for the filter. That's
nice that they trust their engines that much.. but.. uh... no way. I
change at least every 3-4 months because a) it's easy to do and b) it's
the best thing you can do for your car.
