[V8] Interesting V8 FS...maybe

As is ALWAYS the case, if something looks like it might be too good to be
true, it probably is.

 

The seller told me that he had NO history on the car, and NO service
records.  OK. I could live with that if the Carfax checked the car out
without issue.

 

BUT.  There appear to be two owners.  OK. No big deal, and certainly the car
looked good.

 

BUT, the "Brain Trust" told me that there was information that the
instrument cluster had been replaced more than once, AND the seller reported
instrument cluster problems..non-functioning speedometer at least once.

 

OK.  I could live with that too.  To me the car could be a $2500 V8.  Not a
lot more unless I could actually go and see it, which I will NOT do for
something born and raised in New Jersey, and not being sold through a real
dealer.  

 

Only if the color combination was perfect..so, I'll pass.

 

Now, where is that "next" perfect 91 Avant......

Guess the fact that it moved gives you your answer, if not the one you
wanted! Seems a decent buy at the last bid, though the drivers seat wear
seems high for the miles, though I must say mine with lower miles didn't
look a lot better.
