[V8] running temps

My '91 20020v alt. did this right before it died on me out of state. Right
now the LCD gear selection fades out real dim, headlights dim way down. The
voltage reg is shot. I have a '91 20020v with a good alt. so I am going to
use etka to cross reference the voltage reg. My amp is what killed it. I
need to put in a cap, and put in an optima battery like I did my 20v avant.

The running cool part, thermostat maybe...

Mine, on the other hand always runs at 100C, no matter what. New everything
but viscous fan and heater core. Hmmmm

What about that alternator? Does it stop doing it if you hit "econ" on the
AC control head?
