[V8] running temps

 Since my condensor is cracked, I have my a/c unpluged. Plus it wont exist
in a few weeks due to a small roots type forced induction...

Thermostat is stuck open or missing.  Alternator kicking on and off?? 
You sure that's not the AC compressor?  What are the symptoms?
