I posted last on this about a month ago - I have just recently had time to
work on the v8 again. In pusuit of a higher MPG + getting rid of the O2
code I have done the following: Replaced fuel injector o-rings, checked
for exhaust leaks, new IM gaskets, new fuel filter, and new O2 sensor - I
think that is it. Bad MPG - still there! Now some of you remember that I
had one cylinder down on compression - But then I question that result
because later my compression numbers were all over the place - I will
re-do that test soon - I may also try seafoam. Couple questions - what am
I missing? The car runs absolutly great - could one cylinder down on
compression cause this? Idle is smooth, good power. Help!
