Cars are appliances to my wife. You get in, turn it on, and drive away.
When it stops it needs to get fixed, but in the meantime, there is NO
involvement. I MEAN no involvement. She claims to be unable to read an
owner's manual...that she simply has not the ability to read an owners
manual and have it mean anything. Right! I almost believe that. The woman
has a bachelors degree in education and a bachelors degree in interior
design and architecture and an MBA. I think the truth is that she just
doesn’t like machinery.
But she loves her Audi 100CS Quattro Avant, and she "gets it" as far as
Quattro is concerned. She LOVES the look of The Black Mariah, and
understands (in a detached sort of way) the "need" for another V8.
She will NOT let me shave my beard AND my head, which is my preference. I
can shave either one or the other. That problem will probably be solved by
the Mine Safety and Health Administration, as I will probably have to shave
the beard to go anywhere near the quarry this year.
But my wife has absolutely struck and threatened me with mayhem if I even
THINK about another motorcycle. Sigh.
