What's the problem with the V8 5-sp in WA? Is it just that it's been for sale for a while?

As a (sad) former dealer, the psychology of buyers was always troubling. If I had two identical cars, in the eyes of the buyer of the second, the first one to sell was always "the good one" . If the car wasn't a "local" car, it was <clearly> a problem child. (the opposite was true). If it had been on the lot for more than a month, it was assumed to have a problem. If I liked a car so much I drove it myself, I got in trouble 'cause it "had been for sale for months". If I cleaned the engine, that was bad. If I didn't clean the engine that was bad. The asking price was never a "fair" price. If everything was really and truly good, there must be something wrong <somewhere>.... Yadda Yadda Yadda. I grew to HATE selling cars.

So, what's the problem with the V8 in WA?
