I did test-drive that 5-speed, but I must tell you the car's underside
components
were quite rusted, suggesting a mid-west car or something, definitely not a
Pacific Northwest car.  The instrument gave warnings of many kinds, and it
looked as though the car was involved in a front-end collision in the past,
as
I noticed a tell-tale sign of mis-matched paint job on the right fender
channel.
Also, the clutch was heavy and the engage point was high.  To summarize,
it's still a 5-speed, but a very tired V8 indeed.   Shin
