[V8] So What Is Bad/Going Bad Here?

Geez Ingo, why do you always have to come with the major head
scratchers? A couple months ago my wife's Suburban buried the temp gauge
to the far right. It just turned out to be the temperature sending unit.
This was fine with me, I certainly wasn't looking forward to tearing
into the dash. So it seems like testing the sending unit would be the
likely first step. Hopefully your noise from the rear is nothing
serious. Good Luck, William
