[V8] Scrubbing wheel on tight turns.

Gradually I have become aware that one wheel is scuffing as I make  
tightish turns.
It feels like the inside rear tire and it seems much more pronounced  
from cold.
Sort of  like a go-cart with a fixed axle.
I'm not sure if it's connected, but the ABS-OFF light comes on  
shortly afterwards. I then thwack the switch on the center console a  
couple of times and the light goes out until the next turn.
Anyone have some advice on this one?

PS. IF you get the right answer I'll let you have a go at my "Why is  
the power steering stiff at slow speeds on right turns" problem too!!
