More typical (or ubiquitous at least) are 114.5 bolt patterns, for BMW,
as well as a ton of Japanese and American applications. The 112 seems
limited to Audi, high-end VWs, and M-B. No way would I get involved in
adapting/modifying anything to make a non-112 fit my car... Not worth
the effort or risk, IMHO...

My biggest obstacle is finding a pre-made (non-custom ordered by me from
new) that's in the 29-34 offset range. I'd like to keep the added inch
or so width on the wheel's outside facing side to avoid using spacers to
push them out. Plus, as somewhat dorky as the front wheels look in
their pushed-inward position, I want to avoid changing the track
differential between front and rear wheels, as this car pushes enough
for me already!

Anyway, we all have our daydreams... This is mine.

Carry on then,

Dave
