Dave,
Changing the front track to be wider will help you have LESS understeer,  not 
more......that's why I put the spacers on the front of my car.
Equalizing the track F/R is a good thing on these cars!

I want to avoid changing the track
differential between front and  rear wheels, as this car pushes enough
for me already!

Anyway, we all  have our daydreams... This is mine.
