[V8] Anybody Going to Carlisle?

I will be there with the Coupe GT at the very least.  I may end up having
to bring the A6q Avant as well, to bring over parts for other Type 85
folks.  I wish I could bring the V8, but she currently has the distributors
pulled and is awaiting the replacement rack I need to install.  And
according to Ron, I am not going to have a good time with this project.  I
would need to get that done, and get her inspected if I wanted to bring
her.

It will  be great having a few V8's there, I brought mine two years ago,
and I was the only V8q.   And there  was a really nice Pearl one that
materialized last year.  (Anyone from the list own that car?  I believe it
was from Md)   I only live about an hour from the fairgrounds, so if I get
her done, maybe I can run her over.

I know I am kind of a lurker on this list, but it would still be nice to be
able to put some faces with names, and say thanks for all the advice I have
garnered over the years.

Hope to see some of you there.  Ron, you're bring the 5 speed right?  I
have dibs on a ride in her.  I will be driving an Oceanic Blue 1986 Coupe
GT with Thule bike rack on top.  The car has a hitch as well, so she's hard
to miss.  I may also have the Ming Blue A6q Avant.  She's rather non
descript, so keep an eye for the Coupe GT.
