Inerta.. simple physics. Power and weight : gravity

Another analogy the bigger they are the harder they fall. As the cars
are getting bigger and heavier, (to offset the more power they have),
when you throw 4000 pounds into an unstable (by design) curve, physics
just takes over and wants to continue to travel in a straight line.
(last known trajectory).

So the smaller, lighter (and less power) as also easier to control (but
would lose a race) That is until you start moding them to have more
power.. then you start to lean back to the outside of the curve.
