[V8] V8 automatic shifter lights

Well, today I did some work on the V8. I'm splitting it up into two sections. The first is the center console shifter lights. For as long as I can remember, I thought there was no light for the shifter indicator. I parted out a V8, after all, and surely wouldn't have forgotten that!! Plus, I haven't talked to anyone on the list who had a working one, so I just figured.....Well, Ingo was right, we all must just have burned out ones.

There are two lights in the center console. I recall someone mentioning the one for the "SEM" selector, but there is also one at the back of the shifter. It is placed such that it is a "never wear out" theory part, much like the trans fluid :) You have to remove the center console to replace it. It is mounted to the rear of the shifter assy, and I see no way to get at it without pulling the console towards the rear. Anyone who wants pics or specifics on how to remove the console feel free to email me.

As for the bulbs, I got them at the local dealer, 1.14 each. They are part # N-017-751-2.

I now have lights, yahoo!
