[V8] A question of theory, please:

My fiance drives an A6 3.0.  I specifically picked this car/engine for her,
because I have seen them to be very reliable.  I used to work at an Audi
dealership when I was in school, and the A6 3.0 was one of the most reliable
Audis you could buy.  There are relatively few common issues (one example of
which would be the cam adjuster seals leaking oil... a carryover from the
2.8/2.7).  It's not the most exciting engine, but it's not bad at all.
