I see a lot of guys looking for parts for their cars lately, it must be Spring!

What interest does the list have in going in on a Group Buy of 3-6 V8s for parting out?

About 3 weeks ago there was a post about a salvage yard in Colorado that will be parting 30 V8s of various years in the coming month. (Crushing 1 per day :-< ) We have tried a few times to appear in person with the owner of the yard with little success. We have examined the behavior of the owner from different viewpoints and have determined that a face to face meeting would be best instead of phone or e-mail. Thus we have not contacted the owner yet about purchasing a number of V8s. We were told that they are all '90 - '91s and there are no 5-speeds or 4.2s. Tomorrow we will find out if this GB is even possible.

I have the ability to house the cars that we purchase for a few months. HOA would be all over me any longer. As you can see I already have a full stable.

I'm sure that everyone has a list of parts that they would want to get from a group buy. You want to get the right part for the right price. I'm sure there will be some overhead here in transporting all of these cars and I'm willing to negotiate this with the group buy list.

Please let me know what interest each of you have on this. Include a list of the parts and what you are willing to pay for them. I think then we can determine for the response it this GB is even feasable.
