[V8] Rusting V8

Hey all. I was washing my V8 today and while wiping it dry, I found small 
specks of rust starting to form on both rear doors, on the trunk and on the 
passenger door. It really doesn't help that I have a pearl car either. Ugh. 
Anything I can do to perhaps slow, if not stop this rust. I cannot afford a 
full strip down and respray, or just a plain old respray for that matter. 
Any fairly cheap options?
