[V8] steering rack bolts

Hey all,
Anyone have their steering rack bolts- the ones that bolt it to the inner  
fender come loose by themselves?
I noticed a distinct loose spot in the steering that I had attributed to  bad 
mounts, ball joints, ect, and with big ass tires (255's) never suspected the  
rack bolts......I had my 3 year old play drive the car and crank the wheel to 
 discover the whole rack moving an 1" or so to and fro.....oh boy! Thought 
maybe  the tabs had broken on the mounting points, but thankfully not...as I 
really did  not want to do a rack.
Some 242 (blue) threadlock and crank em down with some excellent  
contortionist wrist flexing.....
Seems weird they would just "get loose".....maybe sabotage.....my wife has  a 
BIG policy out on me......hummmm? 
Blissfully devoid of suspension slop for now,
