[V8] Right hand turns

So, I back out of the driveway and make my right hand turn and my car acts like an old Ford pick-up when the 4x4 is on and the hubs are locked. The steering getrs real tight and I feel almost a bucking sensation but not quite, it's more like a binding. I recently replaced my left drive shaft. Could this be the culprit?
