[V8] Hose Leak

The OEM hose has a middle metal section that serves as a damper for the line to the brake accumulator.

On the high pressure hose that goes from the pump to the bomb I cut the foam sheath away and there's a metal crimp connector right in the middle of the hose. Does the stock hose come like this or am I dealing with a hose that's already been repaired? Thanks, William
