With G60's then I'd say you're good to go.  When it comes time to do
tires you can get 215/55-16's to get rid of the speedo error (and
regain a minor amount of ground clearance).

The offset should not present any issues.  I've had 17x9 et35 with
255/40-17's on my H&R sprung '93 without any clearance issues.
