You confirmed fuel supply, did you check for spark? Maybe coils are wet or the distributor caps? If it's dry where you are now, try opening the hood and running a big fan across the engine bay.

weekend, could shoot me some ideas.

So this is a "weekend" car, and the last time I ran it was about 3 weeks
ago, then no issues start right up all was fine. Since then we've had
about a week and a half's worth of rain (car sits outside). I got in to
fire her up and nothing not ever a effort to start.

I thought maybe or low on fuel, so I added 5 gallons of something fresh,
and thought I smelled fuel, so the plugs being fouled were suspect.
Swapped them out this morning with a new set (and they were fuel soaked)
ok.. so we are getting fuel; The areas at the base of the dist is moist
but not saturated. Still no start. No bouncing tach while I try can
crank. Just no effort to kick over.

I have not looked at the timing ref or rpm sensor yet (as I didn't
suspect them, the car was only sitting).

Any suggestions?
