[V8] V8 engine removal help - starter?

But....and here's the X-factor that you're not considering....other people already have done it.

If I had a blown 944 turbo, I'd probably go the 'merican route. But since I have a 924S, I'd rather be a bit different. Things should more or less bolt up (931 bellhousing required, clutch will be interesting) but I've got the harness, so it should be plug and play. Sorta.

From what I've heard, it's just a helluva lot easier to get the LS1
installed. More HP for BST levels (blood, sweat, tears). *shrug*
  Lots
of guys wanna drop a 928 engine into their 944. The rule is, though,
the 928 engine barely fits in the 928 engine bay, let alone anything
else. The 3.6/4.2 have a bit more room around them than the 928
engine... but not as much as you'd have with an 350.

Throwin' it out there,
Scott S.
