Subject: [V8] brake pad light still on after new parts installed

Hi

On my 1990 V8 I had new rotors ,pads and sensors installed by the dealer
,since I had no time to do it myself .

These are UFOs.

The service called to say that everything is fine but my light is still
on (brake pad light) and I may have a wire in the harness that is open
or shorted. The brake display came on about 2 weeks ago and I knew my
brake pads were getting thin.

Does this theory make any sense or are they BSers ?

I suspect one of the new sensors may be bad .Any way of troubleshooting
it ?

Any BTDT ?

Regards
John
