[V8] I can kind of see it

Thanks for the help everybody, I really appreciate it. I like to keep
the wiring as stock as possible or looking as clean as possible so I'll
definitely investigate those connectors.

Soldered me a nice toggle switch to some small pins and went out to read
the codes again after clearing them completely this afternoon. The
toggle switch helps to go faster as I was getting irked by fishing
around for the pin hole, bumping another metal piece, and blowing the #4
fuse.

Survey says...
2322 - The damn IAT sensor again. Can I get to the PCM by pulling the
dash pad? I guess I need to check to see if the signal's getting to the PCM
2342 - O2S voltage no change. Same code as before
2112 - Timing Ref Sensor. This is the interesting one.
2341 - O2S control limit exc. Looks like a new O2S is in my future.

The Ref sensor code is interesting. The sensors need to be changed as
they're fickle, especially during the summer. I've been mulling around
the idea that this miss is one of those sensors going in and out as the
miss only occurs with the engine hot. But, after I cleared the codes, I
ran up to my FLAPS to get some misc. crap and when I came back out, the
car did it's "nope, not gonna start" thing. Let it sit for 10 seconds,
started right up. So I'm 75% sure the 2112 code is from that occurrence.

If I have time tomorrow, I'll clear the codes and drive the car for 10
minutes or so before reading them again. I consider this reading tainted.

Has anyone installed a valve on the fuel rail to measure fuel pressure?
I thought I read about it somewhere. The AF TWiki has one for S4/S6
cars. It was an incredibly valuable tool on my previous cars and I'd
like to have one to check numbers.

Full of questions, eager to learn,
Scott Simmons
