Some answers:
Questions 2 & 3.. According to Audi, the driveshaft is not to be
serviced and is to be replaced as a whole. So The basic answer to them
is no, however the center support bearing can and does fail and can be
replaced with a BMW part (search the archives for specifics) (not a
direct bolt in) but can be modified to fit. As for the CV's if your
concerned about them, buy new grease and boot clamps, remove the old
clamps and with brake cleaner get all the old grease out of there and
re-pack. Thanks about it as far as I know.
Question 4. There are two holes yes, one is the drain (lower) on the
upper is the fill location.
Question 5. Any tire shop should have the tools necessary to do this.
