[V8] Seat height

the V8 spends most of its time in storage but everytime I get it it right after driving the 200 I notice that the seat height is noticeably higher that the 200 with the same settings.  Both with comfy seats, both bottomed as per the height switch, both reclined to the same position yada, yada,..the same distance from the pedals and the V8 has me at least 1 inch closer to the roof.  Is this dimension shorter in the 200?  Any one else with he same observations?  The whole driving situatation seems higher, my knees are closer to the column and the column seems that much lower than in the 200.
