[V8] donuts and a dead alternator

We got a good 5 inches out here and I was watching the CC unit like a 
hawk until I got home.  I've read horror stories on here and since my 
alt is brand new I treat it like it was brand new. ;)

Although, the next morning there was an odd clanking noise coming from 
the left rear.  I can only assume snow has packed itself into something.

I'd spray your alternator down with a good dose of compressed air and 
dry it out.  Hopefully it'll pull through.
