[V8] Pentosin Leak Update

My standard response is that if the seal is bad, you probably need new
bearings too.
You can call Rick at www.importpartsspec.com and talk
to him about it. He has rebuilt hundreds of these - including mine for the
same reason. His experience was that just replacing the seal did not last
very long.

At one time he stocked all the parts needed for a
rebuild. I don't think he does the rebuilds anymore (his store has gotten
too big), but he may still have the very hard to find bearings, and the
right seal kit.

As for the difficulty of the job? I have never
done it - but I think getting it off the car is the hard part.
Are
you quite sure that a hose is not leaking?

I can't remember
exactly now - but I had a hose and a pump seal go at about the same time.
I think the seal went first, and the hose soon after - probably because I
was messing with it to get the pump out.
