With the price of scrap as high as it is, you should have no problems
having someone come pick up the carcass for nothing.  Just yesterday I
had 3 abandoned/unregistered cars removed from some property I own, and
the tow driver actually paid me $20.  Nice turnaround, I still remember
having to pay $40 for someone to haul junkers off to the prolerizer.  

Check in your area, but around here (Boston) they'll usually ask you to
remove the gas tank on non-rolling junkers before they'll pick em up.
