[V8] busted lock

  Thanks for the responses , I had already read the post about how to fix the broken lock suggested but I could not find a part number for the little arm . Wjhen I talked to my local stealer I got quoted $438 for I guess the whole door handle and lock, and they informed it could only be sold as a package! Anyway I went out to the junkyard and pulled the locks from a type 44 for $5 bucks and they work fine not sure if they are the new improved or same old but I lubed up the linkage and will give it a whirl. My problem now is that the locks all lock but the passenger which I replaced will not unlock all the other doors I checked all the electrical connections and they seem sound and the vacum plunger works to lock it. What tells the plunger to unlock ? I assume the whole system is on a sinlge fuse so if one works they all should? Thanks again George
