The way this all happened was this. If my car hadn't been driven for a few days, I would start it and rev the engine up a little. I had both the injector and fpr valve replaced. Some how it was still drawing down and causing the car to stall. Anyway I started the car in the cold. Ever since I've had the problems listed above.

On point #1 - Could be FPR or clogged Fuel filter, maybe fuel pressure is low from pump.On point #2 - Check to see that the Cruise rod is not dropped and jambing the accelerator. On Point #3 - Replace the Trans fluid a few times, It may be overdue and not shifting.Scott. ---------- Original ---------Message: 10Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2007 15:37:17 -0600From: "Steve Kramer" <skramer at mac.com>Subject: [V8] v8 about to go to machine shopTo: <v8 at audifans.com>Message-ID: <000501c739b6$7f83e590$6b01a8c0 at Macpaq>Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=originalV8ers,I have a patient 1990 white v8 that I need to fix, sell or donate to the
local high school.Car has 3 big problems.1 - car idle goes up and down while in park -2 - accelerator doesn't work - when I rev the engine it barely goes up3 - car stays in first.2 lesser problems- leaking steering pump- rear control arm bushings wornIf, I could get the first 3 done I might save the car. Otherwise it might be a good parts car for someone.Steve Kramer
